Board of Directors Election
Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote in this year's election for the RSRA Board of Directors. All ballots submitted unanimously approved the follwoing slate of officers:

Assistant Commissioner, Credentials and Training - Tim Piester
Assistant Commissioner, Assignment - Barbara Brandao

The board would also like to thank outgoing board members Jim Conlee and Chris Hoppe for their contributions over the last few years to RSRA and the soccer players we support. We all look forward to your continued support in a less formal role.

VHSL Notes (From the ARBITER page)
Don't forget your Arbiter reports!

VHSL Regular Season TIES: 2 – 5 minute overtimes played in their entirety. If tied after the 2 OT’s, the match is a tie.

Post Season: 2 – 5 minute OT’s played in their entirety.
If tied after the 2-OT’s, teams play 2 more 5 minute OT’s but they are “Golden Goal.”
If tied after the second set of OT’s then there are PK’s ( 5 per team shoot all 5)
If tied after 5 PK’s then a second round of PK’s start “sudden death”

Non-District VHSL matches do OT. Check with Private and Christian schools regarding overtime.

NO OVERTIME FOR Middle Schools and JV games.

RSRA officials WILL NOT ALLOW ANY MATCH FOR ANY AGE GROUP TO BE PLAYED WITHOUT PROPERLY SECURED GOALS. OFFICIALS ASSIGNED BY RSRA AFFILIATED ASSIGNORS WHO ARE FOUND TO HAVE VIOLATED THIS POLICY WILL NO LONGER BE ASSIGNED MATCHES BY RSRA ASSIGNORS.
